Sanford Uni-Ball Grip - Older School

It feels like it is "old school week" here at Good Pens...back in the day, I bought these by the 12 pack...a lot. There was a time where I always had this pen with me. Jordan had crazy ups, Nate Dogg and Warren G were Regulating and I had my Grip...it's just the way it was.

Times change, tastes change but I still use these- mainly because I have about 10,000 of them. I love the modern versions of this pen as well. Seen here, but this pen still stays classic and works for me. I do a ton of scribbling and doodling with these and am not afraid to bring them on the road with me if needed.

The before shot, I have been doing a TON of work restoring old fountain pens lately. I did some work on a pen for Unposted here and really have been enjoying working on my pens and getting some pens in the mail to work from you guys. Here's the scary before shots. I will get to this one over the weekend and will get some afters out as well.

Have a great day everyone.

Sanford Uni-ball Gel Impact and go C's

I remember buying this pen thinking I never will use a 1.0 point gel pen, (a smarter man might have refused to buy it,) but I picked it anyway and I do use it. This is a pen that has gone through many iterations by Uni-ball, checkers, windows, you name it. This faux carbon fiber look is not too bad on this model. There are very few Uni-balls that I don't like to write with and if I need a fat blue gel, this is the one I reach for.

Go Celtics, as I write it's 85-70 and they are about to get their 19th straight win. Go C's. The good news is this is record setting, the bad news is..it's almost impossible to get reasonable tickets. It's winter in New England and I cound not find my basketball, so this is the best I could do.

Neatorama recently had a link today to a ton of Military truisms that rocked. This one was my favorite. No post tomorrow, but back on Friday! Have a safe Holiday everyone.

Sanford Uni-ball Vision Exact

I recently picked one of these up out of the drawer after a long period of not using and was pleasantly surprised at how well it puts a line down on paper. It doesn't try to do anything other than be a nice writing liquid .5 rollerball. I have been dealing with a ton of cranky, old fountain pen nibs lately and it was a little refreshing to "re" find this pen that just seems to write well...

Caution...use of the work "maketh" ahead!

32 people gave eulogies at Francis Bacon's funeral and they were published as a volume in Latin in 1730, contrary to popular belief, he did not just have "You can't always get what you want" by the Rolling Stones playing repeatedly, followed by a kegger at Lord Chancellor's castle.

I like this pen again, smooth writing, user friendly. It's going back into rotation and I will pick up a few more to keep around the house. It's a Good Pen.

Moonman AKA The Camry

OK,  Camry MIGHT be a little bit of a stretch comparison.   Low cost and will run forever.  The Moonman M2 is a super fun Chines...
